Trespa’s first façade specification was the Delftland Office Building erected in the 1960′s. With a re-clad in the 70’s to benefit from updated UV resistance developed after the initial installation, the panels are still visible today, in good condition and colour stability.

Since then Trespa has been used on thousands of buildings around the world and has pioneered the use of ventilated façade cladding in the UK since the 1990’s.

Due to its excellent impact resistance, long life and lack of maintenance requirements- Trespa is popular for local authority re-developments, leisure centres and commercial premises as well as sports stadiums, swimming pools and multi-use spaces such as libraries, museums and community centres.

Meteon, Trespa’s premier product, is a decorative high-pressure compact laminate with a resilient surface. Meteon panels are available in a wide variety of standard colours, effects and finishes.

The panels are manufactured using Trespa’s unique in-house technologies, Dry-Forming and Electronic Beam Curing creating a robust and durable product. Trespa Meteon stands up to any extreme weather conditions such as sun, rain and moisture and is Class O fire rated. This High Pressure Laminate is used for vertical applications like façade cladding, balcony paneling and a wide range of other exterior applications. Trespa Meteon can be attached with no visible fixings or with screws or rivets. Four sheet sizes are available in 67 colours, 15 metallics, 23 woodgrains and 11 naturals.

Trespa TopLab® panels meet the requirements of most laboratories while at the same time bringing a range of additional benefits. These benefits include chemical resistance, impact resistance and water resistance. Trespa offer a range of Scientific Surface Solutions which are represented via the following three product lines, under the name TOPLAB®: TOPLAB®BASE ,TOPLAB®VERTICAL and TOPLAB®PLUS. All three product lines are optimised for use in functional and laboratory environments. All products meet highest requirements in industry, research and education.

TopLab is a self supporting flat panel, based on thermosetting resins, homogeneously reinforced with wood based fibres and manufactured under high pressure and at high temperatures. This protective layer ensures each panel is pore-free, resistance to aggressive chemicals and easy to clean. Trespa TopLab also provides resistance to most bacteria, moulds or micro-organisms and is certified by the IMSL for its anti-microbial performance and hygiene. Toplab is extremely resistant to humidity and suited for wet environments such as botanical research labs or sink areas. The performance panel is available in 20 colours with a non-reflective smooth surface. Trespa Toplab should be mechanically fixed to the subframe to ensure stability.

Trespa TOPLAB®BASE (previously known as Trespa Athlon) is specifically designed for interior application. It is the primary interior quality for all areas where durability along with scratch and wear resistance are of great importance. TOPLAB®BASE is a flat panel, based on thermosetting resins, homogeneously reinforced with wood based fibres and manufactured under high pressure and high temperatures. This special surface structure makes the TOPLAB®BASE panels impact, scratch and moisture resistant. Trespa TOPLAB®BASE is not susceptible to mould or rot and falls within the highest class of Fire Retardation. Trespa TOPLAB®BASE is available in a range of colours and finishes to achieve the highest specification.

Trespa TOPLAB®VERTICAL (previously known as Trespa Virtuon) has established a reputation for quality and durability. TOPLAB®VERTICAL panels are manufactured using a proprietary EBC (Electric Beam Curing) process, producing a surface that can be maintained with minimum effort- keeping panels free of stains and blemishes, even in the most challenging environments. Trespa TOPLAB®VERTICAL panels are smooth, impermeable, impact resistant and easy to clean, making it the ideal material for internal application. Offering such a vast colour range, TOPLAB®VERTICAL helps to create an interior that is both highly individual and exceptionally functional.
